The Dudes and Dolls Welcomes You!
Square Dancing is a fun, lively and inexpensive social activity enjoyed by young and old alike. If you're new to square dancing, we offer lessons to get you started quickly so you can begin to enjoy square dancing as soon as possible.
We dance on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Friday from September through May with 7:30pm pre-rounds and mainstream from 8:00pm to 10:30pm. We invite you to attend our dances at the Cedar Valley Grange here in Lynnwood, Washington. Driving directions are available.
A fun square dance club isn't complete without a great caller and cuer. Our featured Square Dance Caller is Scott Coon (who does a fantastic Elvis impersonation) and our Round Dance Cuer is Debbie Taylor. During Debbie's career, she has cued dances and provided workshops at the national level.
We have several guest callers and cuers scheduled throughout the dance season so watch the Dance Schedule for details.
News & Items of Interest
Dance Punch Cards are AvailableThe club will be selling a dance punch card this season - to members and non-members. The cost will be $30 for 6 dances. So the purchase will be for 5 dances with the 6th dance for free. This punch card can be used for 5th Friday dances, but the additional $1 must be paid if used at a 5th Friday dance.
If you are interested in purchasing a Dance Punch Card please contact Anita or Mike Wiitala. These cards will be available for purchase at dances starting Sept. 14th, but you can also purchase a card before that date. The cards are good through May 31st.
Season Dance Passes are AvailableAttention all Dudes & Dolls members. The club is again offering a Season Dance Pass. This year the cost is $110 and is for all 18 regular dances and the 3 fifth Friday dances. This represents a 15% discount from the full price for all dances. You can share your dance pass with your dance partner, only. In other words if only one of you purchases a Season Dance Pass you can share it. If both of you attend a dance one of you can use the pass while the other pays the dance donation (either $6 or $7).
We will have Season Dance Passes available at the first dance on Sept. 14th or you can buy one in advance. Contact Anita or Mike Wiitala for more info.
Online Video Square Dance LessonsThe Saddlebrooke Squares Square Dancing Club of Tucson, Arizona have free, online square dancing lessons and DVDs available for purchase. If you're new to square dancing or need a refresher lesson, these are great.

Available to ages 16 and up.
Make friends and get in shape while dancing to Rock, Jazz, Hip Hop, Latin, Oldies and more. We create a welcoming, non-competitive atmosphere for everyone. So turn off the TV, and do something good for your mind and body. Students are encouraged to come out every week, so you won't miss a thing. Casual attire welcome and we promise you'll be dancing by the end of the first class.
